The academic staff work force of Engineering Trades Department as at year 2015 is twelve in number while two non-academic staff support the services of the department. The teaching subjects of the department are in–line with the Federal Ministry of Education’s approved curriculum and these are:

  1. Motor mechanic works
  2. Electrical installation works
  3. Electronics Works
  4. Basic Electricity
  5. Computer Craft Studies, Computer Studies, ICT & Data Processing
  6. General  Metal Works
  7. Technical Drawing

The students’ carrying capacity of the department is above four hundred on the basis of one teacher ratio forty students and the school plants availability. The Engineering Trades Department year-in and year-out prepares trade-students within a three-year period and present them for NABTEB and NECO. Performance of the Trade-students in available trade subjects in the school at NABTEB and NECO level is rated above 50% in the released past examination results.
